2012 District Pinewood Derby

Race Car Clipart

  • February 25th, 2012
  • St Paul's Fellowship Hall in Brenham
  • Registration 10:00 AM to Noon
  • Racing starts at 1:00 PM

 Concession stand will be open serving chopped beef sandwiches, chips, drinks & Blue Bell

Open to all 1st place finishers for each rank from your Pack. If the ellgible 1st place finisher is not able to attend, the 2nd place finisher may take their place.

See you at the races!

  • When - January 28, 2012
  • Where - KC Hall in Brenham (2804 Gun and Rod Road, aka Loop 577)

Registration begins at 8:00 AM - Events from 8:30 AM until 12:00 noon
  • Cost will be $6.00 per scout (includes patch)
  • Orange Juice, Milk, Coffee & Donuts provided.
1st & 2nd place winners will advance to the Council First Aid Meet
Be sure to bring a stretcher to compete in the stretcher race!

The REAL impact Scouting makes to the life of a scout is simply instilling the following into their lives;

You efforts, in making scouting happen here in the David Crockett District, allow our scouts to make the 12 points of the scout law something that will be part of their entire lives. Now that's what I call making a difference!

2012 District Pinewood Derby Rules Posted!

It's Cub Scout Pinewood Derby time!

Pack's are suggested to follow the District Pinewood Derby rules when building their cars. This will help prevent disappointment for those Cub Scouts that advance to the District level and find their Pinewood Derby car does not meet the District rules for competition.
